Crown Point, Ind. -- The Indiana University Northwest men's soccer team finished their season at home which was a 7-1 loss to Moody Bible at the Crown Point Sportsplex Friday.

Moody struck first after a goal by Will Snyder made it 1-0 in the 10th minute.

Riley Brown put the Archers ahead 2-0 with a goal in the 23rd minute. A minute later, Snyder scored his second goal of the match to make it 3-0. 

That score held up at halftime with the Archers leading 3-0.

Juan Daniel Martinez extended the lead to 4-0 after finding the back of the net in the 53rd minute. 

In the 59th minute, this time Martinez helped Snyder secure a hat trick to make it 5-0.

Vincent Lopez (Portage, Ind./Portage) put the RedHawks on the scoreboard in the 60th minute as the freshman scored his second goal of the season.

Snyder kept on scoring for Moody Bible making it 6-1 with his fourth goal of the match in the 62nd minute.

Martinez scored his second goal of the match after finding the back of the net in the 67th minute to make it 7-1.

That score would hold with the Archers coming out on top 7-1.

Maxwell Higgins (Kokomo, Ind./Kokomo) took the defeat in goal for the RedHawks and recorded six saves.

That concludes the first IUN Men's Soccer season as the RedHawks finish 2-13 in their opening campaign.
